Users can also add waypoint and route information at any display and that data becomes available, in real time, on all other displays. As data is updated between units via Northstar's N2 network, the information is stored on each individual device for redundancy in the unlikely event of unit failure. The 6000i also leverages a boat's existing technology through VGA outputs and NTSC video inputs.
