A seemingly virtuous high school guidance counselor, Sam Lombardo (Matt Dillon), is accused of raping students Kelly (Denise Richards) and Suzie (Neve Campbell). Ken Bowden (Bill Murray), an oddball attorney, and Detective Ray Duquette (Kevin Bacon) come to Lombardos aid, unraveling a much larger blackmail scheme involving some of the town`s least suspicious residents.
WILD THINGS, a veering, breakneck ride, proved surprisingly successful at the box office. It features director John McNaughtons (HENRY PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER, NORMAL LIFE) best talents: sinuous, layered storytelling, racy cinematography, and shocking plot twists. Richards and Campbell sizzle on the screen as they tease, seduce, and entrap. Lying somewhere between black comedy and psycho thriller, WILD THINGS is an unclassifiable, unforgettable original.

Produced by David Lynch, this acclaimed, often unsettling portrait of cartoonist Robert Crumb, most famous for his Zap Comix, Keep on Truckin` cartoon and the x-rated character Fritz the Cat, lifts the page and looks into the twisted roots of the artist`s inspired lunacy.
CRUMB traces the lives of underground cartoonist Robert Crumb and his extraordinarily dysfunctional family. As children, the three Crumb brothers escaped from their abusive home by indulging in an imaginative life centered on comic books, but Robert is the only one who has fashioned any sort of normal existence. Now a famous cartoonist, he creates work that revels in the darker side of the human condition, hilarious and often offensive work that is obviously influenced by his troubled upbringing.

Mutrux`s crude cult classic answer to AMERICAN GRAFITTI and ANIMAL HOUSE follows the comic exploits of the Hollywood Knights, a rowdy, prank-happy car club, and their screwball leader Newbomb Turk (Wuhl). When a group of Beverly Hills preppies decide to run the diclassi pranksters out of town by closing down their hang-out--Tubby`s Drive-in--the `Knights (featuring a young Danza and Pfeiffer) unleash a chaotic string of practical jokes in retaliation, culminating in a hell-raising Halloween free-for-all. Long enjoying cable TV-fed cult status, the film`s video release was held up for years due to music rights.

Burning Down the House (DVD)
Jake Seiling (John Savage) could be the next Steven Spielberg, but right now he`s a nobody. His vision may never reach the big screen either due to his lack of funds and the punch he landed on a major Hollywood executive`s jaw. This conundrum needs a problem solver like Arnie Green (James Wilder). Green is a Roger Corman type who has made films under the worst conditions and raised money in a variety of ways. Together, Arnie and Jake cook up a plan to burn the would-be director`s house down in order to compile the scratch necessary to make this film. A fading movie actress and ex-lover of Jake`s, Brenda Goodman (Joanne Baron), photographs the arson and weasels her way into the scheme as well in this darkly comedic send-up of Hollywood.NR"
