Brazilian college student Carlos (Murilo Benicio) waits for his girlfriend, Julia (Carolina Ferraz) to show up at a movie theater. Sandra Werneck`s heartfelt romantic comedy uses this setup as a springboard to examine three different what if versions of Carlos` life. In the first, Julia fails to show, and Carlos marries another woman. Next, Julia shows up for the date and the two of them wind up married.
